The J-Bar Farms donkeys are loved daily as individuals, and are on a natural nutrition and health care program. There are some great donkeys available here...including my foundation herd. In fact, the entire breeding herd is now offered for sale as a package to an approved sorrel breeding home. J-Bar Farms' `Ehu Iki FOR SALE!

Cute little red gelding out of S&L's Salome by Sedona is ready and waiting for his new adventure. Extremely friendly and level-headed, this guy would be a wonderful lifetime companion and driving donkey. He'd prefer to go to his new home with his best buddy Kokomo (special deal together). His name means Little Red.

J-Bar Farms' KamaHele and J-Bar Farms' Laka are very friendly and have experience with big horses! SOLD!!

KamaHele and Laka are four-year-old rose dun geldings ready for their new home. We all much prefer that they stay together forever. They have been companions to a retired horse for the past 2.5 years but the previous owner's circumstances changed and I bought them back. KamaHele is show quality, Laka had a bit too much grass at his other home so his neck isn't so pretty as it once was. Special consideration for a permanent home for both together.

Note on breeding status: I don't believe in making my jennets "baby factories." They have one or two foals and then get a rest for a year or two. This practice extends their productive lives and protects their general health and wellbeing. If a jennet is listed as "bred" it means she has been exposed to the jack. If listed as "confirmed in foal" it means she was vet-checked at least 120 days from breeding and was in foal at that time.

Salome is a nice 33-5/8" sorrel jennet born 2/7/01 by 758's Tanah Merah (34" sorrel) out of 758's Joy Luck (33" brown). Salome has done well in her Oregon home and is now being offered for sale. She is a very sweet and soft soul (Salome means "tranquil") and will be a wonderful addition to any herd. Salome is due to foal to Sedona in August 2011.

Kamalani has gifted me with Sedona's first foal on 4/23/07, and my first sorrel jennet foal! Makana means "gift, and she's a beauty, and the culmination of my sorrel dreams. I've waited 10 years for a sorrel jennet, and here she is. Makana has grown into a lovely balanced jennet, ready to breed and available now to her forever home.
