~Geldings~

J-Bar Farms' KamaHele and J-Bar Farms' Laka are very friendly and have experience with big horses!

KamaHele and Laka are four-year-old rose dun geldings ready for their new home. We all much prefer that they stay together forever. They have been companions to a retired horse for the past 2.5 years but the previous owner's circumstances changed and I bought them back. KamaHele is show quality, Laka had a bit too much grass at his other home so his neck isn't so pretty as it once was. Special consideration for a permanent home for both together.

~Jennets~

Note on breeding status: I don't believe in making my jennets "baby factories." They have one or two foals and then get a rest for a year or two. This practice extends their productive lives and protects their general health and wellbeing. If a jennet is listed as "bred" it means she has been exposed to the jack. If listed as "confirmed in foal" it means she was vet-checked at least 120 days from breeding and was in foal at that time.

J-Bar Farms' Kamalani Mahina Click for pedigree

Kamalani and sorrel baby 5/2/07 photo Kamalani is a 35" red rose dun jennet born June 2001 out of Feather Ridge's Betsy & sired by LN JBF Red Moon. She's very vigorous and healthy, with that winning Red Moon personality and carrying the sorrel gene! Kamalani has matured into a solid jennet and a cross with Sedona has produced something special and sorrel! Circumstances dictate that Kamalani be offered for sale. Don't wait, as she is a prime young brood jennet with years of lovely foals ahead of her. She foaled a sorrel jennet with Sedona (his very first baby on the ground!) April 23, 2007. Kamalani has been bred to Sedona for a 2010 foal. She would prefer to go to her new adventure with her sorrel daughter Makana.

J-Bar Farms' Hula Click for pedigree
For Sale

J-Bar Farms' Hula with jennet foal 7/08 photo WoW! Gorgeous dark rose-dun Hula was born 5/3/04 out of Betsy by RVB Cannon (HOF). She is a nicely straight and correct jennet and has developed into quite a sweetheart like her momma. This is Betsy's first Cannon foal and I couldn't be happier with Hula. I have four Betsy daughters however, so Hula is available to join your breeding program! She's turning into quite a nice breeding jennet, and still very soft in disposition. She is a dark rose dun in color and mature height is 33.25". She would prefer to go to her new adventure with her dark brown bay daughter Hekili. She is open at this time and can be bred to Sedona for a reduced fee. Photo 9/1/06.

J-Bar Farms' Makana
For Sale

Makana 4/24/07 photo Kamalani has gifted me with Sedona's first foal on 4/23/07, and my first sorrel jennet foal! Makana means "gift...she's a beauty, and the culmination of my sorrel dreams. I've waited 10 years for a sorrel jennet, and here she is. Space and time dictate that she be offered for sale. You won't be disappointed in this red jennet with a great disposition!

J-Bar Farms' Hekili For Sale

Born July '08 (photo at one day old). This dark brown bay jennet is by Sedona out of Hula and is a Cannon granddaughter. A very compact and correct jennet, this little girl could be a showstopper! Consider adding her to your breeding herd. She will be a small jennet, and is available now.
